What We Do We combine extensive practical on ground experience with a well-trained scent dog and the latest GPS tracking, data collection and remote sensing cameras to accurately establish and record the presence, absence and distribution of fox, feral cats and Koala. While surveillance for target animals is relatively easy when they are abundant, our services come to the forefront when the targets animals are very illusive or occur at low levels.
All movement surveillance team is tracked and recorded with points of interest such as indications by the scent dog, den finds, scat locations, actual animals found etc. marked on the GPS and photographed. Data is made available in a format suitable to the client, generally as a hard copy map generated via Google Earth Pro with raw data supplied electronically. Analysis of data to determine threat level posed by feral animals is delivered in report form within 3 days of survey completion.
After The Survey Once the detection dog has established the presence, or absence of target species, we can monitor for movement with remote camera technology. The effective identification of points of interest ,enables a more targeted placement if monitoring technology, to ensure more effective and efficient long-term surveillance.
